Zoey Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier 2
[margin10]

What a happy ending for Ms. Zoey!

She has gone to live with Violet on a wonderful ranch in Merced, CA . Violet is retired and will be able to devote lots of attention to Zoey. Zoey will be a first-hand helper on the ranch, helping Violet with all her chores, and going everywhere with her. We couldn’t have dreamed up a better situation for this sweet dog and her family.

Here’s what Judy, her original owner wrote:

Hi Debbie,[margin10]

Well everything seemed to go really good, Violet decided to keep Zoey, she fell in love with her and said she looked just like her dog .[margin10]

We left her after couple hours ago, just called to check in on her she’s doing OK keeps going to the door looking for us. But I think she’ll be fine the lady is very loving she has a very nice home, beautiful property, it’s a gorgeous place to live… We feel very lucky and so happy it worked out.[margin10]
She’s a wonderful woman.[margin10]

I’m attaching a few pictures. One is of her looking out the window already found the perfect spot.[margin10]

Thank you for everything…[margin10]

Here’s how our Rehoming Team Presented Zoey To Attract a Wonderful New Home IN JUST 6 DAYS:

Beautiful, healthy 7 year old Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier for adoption in Yorba Linda, CA. Zoey is a very sweet girl who is being rehomed due to severe allergies. Please offer her a home today.

Hi, My name is Zoey!

If you are looking for a dog that is “All That – And More!”, I am your girl! My name is Zoey, and I am a luscious purebred Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier with a heart of gold and an amazing personality. I am just 7 years young and weigh 45 pounds. I have been spayed and am up to date on my vaccinations. I am perfectly house broken, well behaved and, well… perfect in every way!

So, you’re probably wondering why I am looking for a new home, aren’t you?

The answer is ALLERGIES. Severe allergies. So bad that my Mom has developed itchy welts that make life miserable for her. She’s tried all kinds of medications and other things, but nothing helps. Not only that, her grandson has similar allergies, and as a result, he can’t even come over to our house.

My Mom and Dad love me terribly. They are absolutely heartbroken to have to look for a new home for me, but, unfortunately, there is no choice in the matter. I am going to be very sad to leave them, but we are all very hopeful that we can find a fantastic home for me where I will be loved as much – or even more – than I am now. It would be so great if my new family will keep in touch with my Mom and Dad, too.

Here’s What My Mom Loves The Most About Me:

  • Always wants to be with you
  • she’s a good dog loves car rides and sits very good in the back seat
  • sweet and loving dog
  • smart dog
  • good watch dog

Here’s What I Am Hoping For In My New Home:

  • People who will love me a lot.
  • People who are not gone all day long. I am a really loving dog and need companionship.
  • People who will take great care of me and give me good nutrition, exercise, playtime and veterinary care.
  • I am an INSIDE dog. I want to stay that way.
  • I’d love some great kids or grandkids to play with me.
  • People who don’t have pet allergies. I want to stay in my new home forever.

Zoey’s Current Home Environment

We live in a one story house with a back yard
she has basically full run of the house
she sleeps on her dog bed in our bedroom

Zoey’s Current Family:

It’s just myself and my husband, I work full time and my husband is retired he spends most of the day Zoey, taking her on car rides when possible. She is house broke however we don’t have a doggie door. We have 5 grandkids.

Zoey’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

she loves stuffed animals, not too crazy about rubber or plastic toys. She loves to run and get balls, loves to walk around East Lake and see the ducks, Car rides. Just being with us makes her happy.

Loves little dog treats, licking the empty ice cream bowl.

Cute Zoey Story:

She loves to jump up on my husband’s lap, turns over so he can rub her belly. I swear I think she would stay there all night.

When / if he leaves the house she will lay by the door waiting for him.

When he takes her for a ride in the car once in a while she will come up and nibble his ear.

Why is Zoey Being Rehomed?

I am allergic to the dog, and so is one of my grandchildren. They don’t come to our house anymore because of the allergic reaction he has, it effects his breathing and his eyes swell up.

Zoey’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

A good loving home, someone that will be home a good part of the day, she loves being with people. She would love to play with kids., she is an inside dog, doesn’t like the cold or HOT weather prefers to be inside if it’s it too cold or hot.

Additional Comments:

She gets use to one dog food and doesn’t like to switch.
She eats Blue Buffalo -Basic Blend (chicken & potatoes or turkey & potatoes) We have never given her canned dog food or table scraps. Her only human food is licking the ice bowl. LOL
