If you have been waiting for an extra special cat to come along, your wait is over. Yuki is so stunning with her crystal blue eyes and gorgeous long white coat. Yuki is a Turkish Angora mix. She is 14 years young and very healthy. She has been spayed, and is up to date on shots.
Yuki is one of those cats that lives life on her own terms. She is very friendly and affectionate, but likes to decide when and where the cuddling will take place. She likes to play most evenings by chasing things around on the floor, and contents herself in the daytime by bird-watching through the windows, and cuddling up beside her favorite person for a long purring session.
Yuki’s owner loves her so much. Unfortunately, her life has become very busy due to career demands requiring long hours at work and extended periods of travel. She worries that Yuki is lonely in her absence, and wants the very best for this sweet, mature cat.
Yuki loves to be with people, and is good with most cats. She has never met a dog, but may be OK, providing the dog is a cat-friendly one.
She would love to find a very loving home with activity and people to keep her company. She would be a great fit for a family with children old enough to respect cats – or with a couple or single with plenty of time to spend with her.

Yuki is a gorgeous, pure white queen of a cat with crystal blue eyes. She is very proud and independent-minded, but she doesn’t like to be alone. She loves to curl up and nap on the couch next to her preferred human for hours at a time when she is in the mood.
Yuki gets along well with people and with other cats (she doesn’t know any dogs). She would be happiest in an active household with other people and cats to make life interesting, but would also be an excellent companion for an older person who stays in the house with her most of the time.
Yuki spends much of her time sleeping or looking out the window. She considers herself too dignified to play much with toys, but gets in the mood to race around the house chasing invisible things for a little while most evenings. She will use a scratching post if one is available. Yuki is deaf, but will sometimes respond to loud noises because she feels the vibrations through the floor.

Yuki usually eats Friskies (different flavors). She is used to having dry food left out for her all the time. Sometimes she enjoys eating part of a can of wet food, but other times she is not in the mood for it.
Reason For Rehoming
My living situation has changed. My cat is lonely and unhappy living with just one person instead of a family, especially since I have to be gone so much of the time. I can’t give her the attention she deserves. Also, I have to be out of the country for work for three months starting in June and I can’t take her with me.
My life has become too unpredictable and at this point it would be better for me to find a more stable home for my cat with someone who can give her more time and attention.
