Hi, My name is Ginger!

I am an incredibly sweet and well mannered American Pit Bull Terrier. I am a female, just 1 year old, and am spayed, up to date on my shots and very healthy. I am such a good girl- I get along well with everyone: cats, other dogs, and – most of all – children, whom I adore.

I am so special and mild mannered that my owner has been able to have me registered as an emotional support dog! That’s right, I am a card carrying doggy therapist! I am a fantastic listener, and am really good at helping people with anxiety or depression.

I am still a puppy in a lot of ways, so I do have a fair bit of energy. I like to be active, and enjoy going for walks and runs with my owners. I also love to play fetch in the back yard and play with children.

My owners love me so much, but their living circumstances will be changing soon. They will be moving from an acreage to a very small residence, and they will not be able to provide me with the environment or space that I very much need.

They are dearly hoping to find a wonderful new home for me with a family who will cherish me and keep me safe, happy and healthy. My ideal home will be with dog lovers who own their own home and have a large, securely fenced yard for me to play in.

Please offer me a loving, forever home today. I can’t wait to meet you and melt your hear with my big brown eyes and charming personality.

And by the way, my buddy, Loki, a Black Labrador Retriever is also looking for a new home, so if you have room in your heart and home for 2 great dogs, please adopt us both!

Ginger’s Personality

fun, loving, curious, strong, energetic.

Ginger’s Current Home Environment

we have 2 acres. they can roam free to explore. we have 5 dogs 2 cats and 2 chinchillas. they love playing with the other animals and loves to explore.

Ginger’s Current Family:

we are a family of 4 kids being 8 9 years old and 12 years old. we are moving so we have to downsize on our amount of animals and the ones that need the most attention we have to find homes for first. we are very animal friendly so we put there feelings and health on same importance level as any member of our family.

Ginger’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

She eats all her beds. she loves to play ball or wrestle with the other big dogs because they are boys and likes to show off. she loves being taught tricks her favorite food is duck jerky and bacon strips.

Cute Ginger Story:

We took her on a family vacation to a resort and we brought her extra bones to keep her busy when she was bored. but they kept showing up hidden all over the room. under our pillows under kitchen sink under dresser. she would keep moving them anytime she thought someone found one. she would move them all.

Why is Ginger Being Rehomed?

we are moving. and she we are moving to much smaller property where we will need to find new homes for most of our animals. the ones that need the most attention we are finding homes for first so that way we make sure to find good homes.

Ginger’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

someone with alot of patience and time to play with her loving family. people that understands that dogs aren’t perfect they will dig holes and chew up shoes but they never intend on being bad. but they have feelings the same as humans and they needed to be treated with the same respect.
