Hi, My name is Ruby!
Like her name, Ruby is a real gem! This sweet, sweet dog is just 9 years young and very well behaved. She is healthy, up to date on shots, spayed and perfectly house trained. She loves to go on long walks with her owner, and is a very good companion. Ruby lives in Sacramento, CA.
Ruby is a Chiweenie – a mix of Miniature Dachshund and Chihuahua. She has a short, smoot black coat. Ruby is no trouble. She is good at staying home alone by herself during the day, something she is well used-to. She is content to curl up on the couch with you watching TV – or quietly chewing a dog chew at your feet.
Ruby’s owner has be be away from her for the next year or so. She is dearly hoping to find a responsible and caring dog lover who would be willing to welcome Ruby into their heart and home until June, 2017, and treat her like a part of the family.
The owner will pay for all supplies and vet care, and also will offer a $100 monthly gratuity to the foster home as a thank you for your loving care of her precious dog.
Ruby is not good with other dogs or cats, and is best suited to homes with children older than 12.

I raised Ruby with my 10 year old daughter. Now my daughter is off to college so it is just me and our other dog Rex.
