Hi, My name is Roman!
Who says laps are just for little dogs? I may be a 50 pound Lab mix, but I am every bit as cuddly as those little yappy dogs! I am a very handsome dog – a gorgeous mix of Lab and Boxer. I am such an easygoing, submissive dog. I get along with everybody and every pet. I LOVE children.
I am very healthy and just 5 years old. I have been neutered, am up to date on shots and microchipped. I have been very well trained. I am crate trained, house trained and leash trained All in all – the perfect family companion.
I am the beloved companion of a single woman who recently moved to the Dallas Ft Worth area. She and I have been best friends since I was a puppy. She has given me exceptional care and lots of love throughout our time together.
As much as it breaks her heart, she realizes that it will be best to find me a new home. She is working 12 hour days, and I a left home in a crate by myself throughout each work day. I am very good about this, but it is not an ideal situation for me. She loves me so much, and wants the very best for me.
My ideal home will be with a family, couple or single who have lots of time to spend with me and don’t need to leave me home all day by myself. I would love some great older kids to play with, and a nice, securely fenced yard to romp around in. Above all, I want people who will cherish me and allow me to adore them in my special way. I am such a happy, devoted dog. I will add plenty of love, joy, laughter and companionship to your home.

He’s an INCREDIBLY friendly dog. He loves people and kids, and craves human attention. He’s an extremely happy dog. LOVES to cuddle in bed with you. He’s incredibly submissive as well, so he typically gets along with other dogs unless they are aggressive. He’s very “pully” on a leash, and outside his nose takes over and he can be a spaz at times. He’s a very high energy dog, and hasn’t lost his puppy qualities yet. He rings a bell on the door when he needs to go outside, and he does not need to be in a crate when I’m not home. He’s a very well behaved boy.
Reason For Rehoming
I have had Roman since he was a puppy. I recently moved to the Texas area and have no family here. I work 12 hour days 6 days per week and I barely make ends meet financially. I feel as though he is not getting enough attention. I feel guilty for working such long hours, but there is no way around it, as I don’t make much money, and I have no one here to help me with him.
