Hi, My name is Pax!

All About Pax

Pax is all about the love. This super sweet 3 year old tuxedo cat is a 10 pound purring machine. Pax loves people and can’t seem to get enough lap time. He’s a very sweet boy who has a very special talent for making you feel loved and appreciated.

Pax is neutered, up to date on shots and micro-chipped. He is perfectly litter trained.

Pax is being rehomed by his owners, who are very sad to have to make this very difficult choice. Pax loves people so much, but he does not enjoy having other cats in his home. This has become a real problem, as there are 2 other cats in the family. As a result, Pax feels constantly triggered, and is territorial and unhappy sharing his home with other felines. Being challenged by another male cat in the home has resulted in some marking behavior. This should resolve once he is in a home without other pets.

He is looking for a wonderful home where he will not have to share his humans with other animals. His ideal home will be with a single or couple who live a quiet life and have no other pets in the home. He is great with respectful children, but small toddlers would not be a good choice for him.

If you are looking for a very loving and sweet cat who will add immeasurable love, joy, laughter and companionship to your home, please consider offering Pax his forever home. He will be re homed with supplies and the sincere appreciation of his owners.

Personality

Very passive and easy going, Pax enjoys sitting on family members laps and resting on furniture. He plays well with our female cat and occasionally fights, but does seem to have issues with the new male cat that has joined our household. Pax does well with our 7 and 10 year old girls and has never acted out towards them even when they are physical with him. He enjoys chasing a laser light and spending copious amounts of time outside.

Reason For Rehoming

The addition of a family member and their cat to our household is a long-term change and one that we don’t feel Pax is willing to accommodate. He is obviously upset with the change and addition l of a new cat to the house and we cannot live as prisoners in our own homes fearful of leaving any door open.
