There is a $100 adoption/rehoming fee to adopt both cats together. All supplies will be included.

There is nothing more adorable than a cuddly young cat  – except for two of them! Panda and Bear are a pair of the cutest cats you will ever meet. They are both so sweet, friendly, people  loving and just plain cute that they can purr their way into your heart within moments of meeting them.

These are cats that definitely defy the notion that cats are “aloof”! These boys are anything but!  They are very attached to their people (some might even call them clingy!). They want to be wherever you are. They even like to hang out in the shower with you! They can never get enough attention, playtime and companionship. They are an absolute delight!

This closely bonded pair of healthy, neutered male cats are looking for a loving home where they can stay together. It would be a tragedy to separate cats that are this much in love.[one_half]

Meet Panda

Gorgeous-tuxedo-cat-for-adoption-in-seattlePanda is 4 years old. He is a Tuxedo cat and has been neutered and vaccinated. Panda gets along very well with other cats, and loves children.

Here is what his owners love about him:

  1.  Panda is so cuddly! He is ALWAYS down for pets and cuddles and never aloof or uninterested in your affection.
  2. Panda will get really cozy on your lap and sink into pets and purr forever.
  3. Panda is GREAT with kids – he is super patient and flexible around young children. My 11 month old daughter loves him and our friends kids love him as well. He will let kids pet him and hug him and nuzzle them back without snapping or running away.
  4. I love how outgoing he is – my friends comment that he is more like a dog than a cat because he greets us at the door when we get home and comes up to snuggle with strangers.
  5.  He is playful, he loves to play with rubber bands and springs and his “da bird” toy.

Panda’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

Panda’s favorite toys are rubber bands, little plastic springs and “da Bird” toy. Panda’s favorite activities are sitting in his cat tree and looking out the window, cuddling with us and eating. He loves to eat and he will get into people food if we are not careful. He is on an all dry food diet because he didn’t like the crystal diet wet food.

Meet Bear

Gorgeous-medium-coat-tabby-cat-for-adoption-in-seattle-4

I am a gorgeous Tabby Maine Coon mix. I am  just 4 years old and very healthy. I have been neutered and am up to date on my shots. I get along very well with children and other cats.

Here is what my owners LOVE about me!

  1. Bear is a BEAUTIFUL cat – he has big green eyes and long silky fur with tuffs of hear in his ears and paws. He is so soft, you will fall in love with him instantly
  2. He has a strong bond with a few people and will follow them around like a shadow and demand to be picked up and cuddled.
  3. he has a lot of funny quirks and personality – he loves to sit in the shower with you and drink the shower water off the wall when your done. he seems to only drink water from a people glass…
  4. he is very playful and will love to play with chaser toys, springs, laser pointers. He is a good hunter and lightning fast, he will get a cute butt wiggle going before he pounces. Loves to play with paper bags.
  5. For someone that wants a “shadow cat”, Bear is great. He LOVES his people and is very loyal

Bear’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

He will graze on his food and eat enough, but does not have much interest in food (not food motivated) – shows NO interest in people food.
He loves water! He is attracted to showers and sinks and your water glass.

His favorite toys are:

  • cat nip
  • paper bags
  • things with string
  • plastic springs

Current Environment:

We live in a small house. The environment of the house is very quiet and relaxed. The cats are along during the day while my husband and I are at work. We have an 11 month old daughter that has added some energy to the house. We occasionally have friends with kids over.

Panda and Bear’s Current Family:

My family consists of my husband and I and our 11 month old daughter. My daughter loves the kitties and follows them everywhere. She is crawling everywhere and learning to walk. My husband and I work during the day and are gone from 8-5.

We adopted the kitties from a shelter when they were 5 months old. They were litter mates and have never lived apart from each other. We would very much prefer that they are re-homed together. They sometimes fight and sometimes Panda can be a bit of a bully to Bear, but they snuggle and groom each other a lot as well. Both cats have been indoor cats their whole lives, but have been walked occasionally on a leash outside. Both show interest in going outside and it might be an ok situation for them if it was a safe environment. We tired for MANY years to keep them outside of the room while we slept, but for years they would cry and scratch at the door, so now we let them in to sleep with us.

Why Are Panda and Bear Being Rehomed?

We have an 11 month old daughter and another baby that is due in May. We do not have the time that we use to give enough attention to our cats. They are very high maintenance when it comes to demanding attention. They follow us around the house (even take showers with us), sleep with us etc… I don’t feel like they are getting the attention that they deserve.

It has also been increasingly difficult for us to sleep with them. They wake us up at all hours of the night demanding attention and since we don’t get very much sleep as it is with the baby ( and it will get worse) – that has been difficult.

They also do NOT like closed doors and will sometimes cry and scratch at our daughter’s door while she is sleeping which wakes her up.

I love them so much and they have been incredible companions to us. Everyone who meets them always comments on how sweet, warm, fun and special they are! But, I don’t believe that this is the right environment for them anymore, especially when we have two kids under two. They need to be in a home that can give them the attention they deserve.

Panda and Bear’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

A home that is calm and relaxed would be best. A home where people can give them lots of attention and they are free to rome around the house (they don’t like closed doors) and can sleep with their companions.
