Tuxedo Tabby Cat For Adoption in Honolulu

Hi, My name is Oscar!

Tuxedo tabby cat for adoption in honolulu

Are you looking for Hawaii’s most interesting cat? Well here I am! I am just 4 years old, a beautiful Tuxedo cat with both black and white – AND – Tabby markings. I have been neutered and am up to date on my shots. I am very healthy and sooo clean and well behaved. I always use my litter box and never scratch on the furniture.

LOVE CAT would be a good nickname for me. I love people and am very affectionate. I have a lot of empathy and always listen carefully to whatever you tell me. If you have had a bad day at work or some other setback, you can share your woes with me and I will listen and comfort you with snuggles and purrs. I am a therapy cat, for sure!

I have one vice; boxes… I love cardboard boxes of any size and any shape. I’ll amuse you every day as I try to fit my voluptuous cat body into the smallest box. OK… maybe I have another small vice – catnip. I love it. My toys are catnip infused and I love to play with them.

I try to earn my keep by keeping my home bug-free. I am a terrific insect hunter – brave and proud!

My owner loves me very much. She is heartbroken to have to make the difficult decision to find me another home, but she is leaving the Islands, and it’s just not within her budget or ability to take me along with her. She is dearly hoping to find a cat lover to welcome me into their heart and home. I am such a great little cat, so hopefully there is someone special out there for me. She would love to keep in touch with me, so hopefully that would be OK with you.

Here is what my owner, Jen, loves the most about me:

  • Oscar comes to cuddle when he knows you’re down
  • He’s been a good therapy animal for my roommate
  • He’s a bit lazy and LOVES to curl up in a small box
  • Loves toys with catnip
  • He always uses the scratching post, easy to trim his nails
  • Very well behaved and listens to me
  • Loves to sleep with me if I give him the chance
  • Very curious ans will chase the bugs in the house

I will bring all my cat supplies along with me. My vet care is up to date and I will bring my health records along with me, too.

Please offer me a loving, forever home today. Cats as laid back and affectionate as me are rare, so I am a special boy indeed.

2 bedroom apartment, he lives primarily in the front room and one bedroom. Sometimes he likes to sleep under my bed or at my feet. He uses the litter box and even trained a bit to use toilet, but not consistent with that yet.

Cute Oscar Story:

I live on the 9th floor of my apartment and my windows do not have screens. Ii came home and could not find him. He had jumped out the window and was cruising on a very small ledge…scared me so much. Now I barely crack the windows

He hates the vacuum cleaner an will hide under the bed

He has a food bowl that he has to put his paw into to get his food to teach him coordination but also to help him not overeat…he will push his whole body on it and knock it over if he really wants more food and being too lazy to get it with his paws…it’s funny to watch that and to watch him fit his big body in the smallest little box and tip over trying 🙂
