We are thrilled to announce that Chance has found his new family in the form of Brittany and her mom in Orlando. He is going to be something of an emotional support dog for his new owner, and we have no doubt that he will be cherished by her.

Chance’s Personality
He loves everybody (especially me)
He loves to cuddle under the blankets at night and sleep with me
He misses me when I’m gone
He loves food and will do anything to get it

Chance’s Current Home Environment
One bedroom apartment, with not much room to run unfortunately. He waits for me to come home from work each day, just to play. He stays in the laundry room during the day, which is a pretty good sized room. It has only been me and him, but he is always riding around town with me at the beach, parks, and he is always the center of attention with people (he eats it up..)
Chance’s Current Family:
I am a young person, who moved out at 18 and immediately bought my puppy. I now am in a situation where I have to move back home and cannot bring him with me.
Chance’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?
He loves squeaky toys and water bottles. He also loves tug-of-war. He has been eating regular dry puppy food, and he has always loved vegetables, especially cooked peas and carrots.
Cute Chance Story:
Chance is a very curious puppy with a lot of energy, but when he is caught being naughty, like chewing mommy’s heels, he will freeze and just stare at you as if he knows that he got caught. Then he runs off quickly and hides. At night however, he will then crawl under the covers and snuggle up to you and go to sleep as if all is forgiven, UNTIL HE STARTS SNORING in my ear. 🙂
Why is Chance Being Rehomed?
I have to move back home immediately, due to a job layoff, and cannot bring him with me.
Chance’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:
A family who plans to keep him forever, who has kids and a yard for Chance to run and play. This is my best friend and it breaks my heart to let him go.
Additional Comments:
I would love to stay in touch with the new owners, if they are okay with this. If not, I at least want status updates from time to time, such as pictures, emails, etc. I just want to know that my best friend is taken care of and is happy.
