I’ve been rehomed! It took one month to find me a good home, but with the Christmas Holidays, that is not unusual. Patience paid off. I know have a wonderful new home where I am cherished!

Here’s how my rehoming team presented me to potential adoptive families:
I am a very handsome and huggable male cat with a coat of many colors! I am a happy, healthy and affectionate 9 year old. I have a loud, glorious purr. I am very gentle and loving – and a great companion. I love to play with feather toys and snuggle.
I am being rehomed by my owner and her family, who are very sad to have to make this difficult choice for me. My owner has a severe pain condition which makes it very difficult for her to provide me with the care and attention I need and deserve.
I have been declawed and currently live with another cat, as well as a 4 year old. While I get along with both the child and other cat in my home, I just don’t feel as safe and secure as I need to. I also do not get the play time I need and deserve.
My perfect new home will be with a single or couple who love and understand cats, and can provide me with a quiet routine where I can be the only pet in the home.

We have heard from Cash’s owner that some suggestions we gave her to help with his litter box issue have been successful. Cash has been using his new litterbox, and we are confident that when he is placed in the right environment where he feels very safe and secure, any litter box problems will be a thing of the past.
I have had some issues around peeing outside my litter box. I have seen the vet and health problems have been ruled out. The vet feels that if I were in a different home with someone who can keep my litter boxes clean and provide an environment where I feel more secure, this problem will be resolved. I am such a sweet boy that I am more than worth the effort.
Please offer me a home today. I can’t wait to purr my way into your heart, and show you what a “9 year old kitten” looks like!

Cash’s Personality
Cash is very laid back, so laid back that 4-year can be semi-rough with him when playing and he takes it in stride. He’s a very loving cat, very affectionate and has a real purr motor. He likes to play, but he’s not given many opportunities
Cash’s Current Home Environment
He’s in a two-story home (w/basement). He lives with a mommy, a daddy, a 4-year old, and his buddy cat, Chloe. He is an indoor cat, declawed in front.
Cash’s Current Family:
His mommy, who loves him dearly, has RSD (a chronic pain syndrome) and whose life has become quite restricted. She saves all her energy for her daughter, and both kitties don’t get much attention.
Cash’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?
He’s eating Science Diet kibbles, LOVES Greenies. I know Cash likes the feather on the string & rod toy, and he’ll bat things around on the floor.
Why is Cash Being Rehomed?
Cash needs a home where he can receive the attention he craves and deserves. His owner, due to severe health problems, can no longer give him enough, and a new environment will be best for him. Although he is very patient and gets along well with other pets and kids, Cash has had some accidents outside the litter box which the vet has attributed to stress. This should be resolved with a quiet home where he is the only cat, and with an owner who has the ability to keep his litter boxes clean for him.
Cash’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:
We would like a family who would love him, play with him, and basically give him the attention he deserves.
