There is a $75 adoption/rehoming fee to adopt both dogs togetther. Supplies will be included.

Are you ready for Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure (Canine Version)? We are a pair of dog brothers who are ready to add plenty of love, licks, fun and play to your home.

We are litter mates – both just 1 year old. We are a lovely mix of Yellow Labrador Retriever and Border Collie. We’re smart as can be, but a bit mischievous. We’re closely bonded, and love to wrestle.

We have had all of our vet care done. We’re neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped and very healthy. We have undergone obedience training, and are both perfectly house broken.

And did I mention that we love children? We live with two little girls who love to dress us up.

We are more fun than a barrel full of Monkeys.

So why are we being rehomed? Like our namesakes, we like to go on our own little adventures. Our owners live in a neighborhood that does not allow the construction of fences. They have an invisible fence that is supposed to contain us, but it does not work. We have gone awol more than a few times, and with a very busy road close to our house, we have had some very close calls.

Our owners love us so much. They want to ensure our safety, and need to find us a home with people who have a securely fenced back yard for us to play in.

As 1 year olds, we are still puppies. We have undergone obedience training, but still have a lot to learn. Most Labs don’t mature until 2 years of age or older. We’re still rambunctious kids that get carried away at times. We need owners who will be patient with us as we mature, and who will be firm and consistent in training us to be the best dogs ever. Above all, we need owners who can keep us safe and take great care to keep us from getting out of the yard.

If you have been looking for a matched set of handsome, adorable and sweet dogs to add love, joy, laughter and companionship to life, please offer us a loving forever home today!

Personality

Bill:
He smiles! 🙂 A runner but friendly and sweet. LIkes to wrestle w/ his brother. Loves our girls (ages 5 & 6) and lets them dress him up, etc.

Ted:
Likes to get into things. He’ll stay close to home IF bill is near, but he’s loyal to his brother and will always follow him.

They both get very excited and jump although they will listen to quite a few commands if they see treats.

Reason For Rehoming

See above. Also, we weren’t planning to add another child to our family (we have a 5 & 6 year old) but I have to have a section in 3 weeks. They jump a lot – although sweet. They could accidently knock over me while healing and put me back, as well as a baby in a seat, etc. They are sweet, but I would never have brought them home w/ a newborn. So, if I can rehome them both, I would. As sad as that makes us, it’s a tough situation we are in. :((( It’s hard to make sure Bill never gets out of the house w/ out a leash. We’ve tried baby gates, etc. but when other kids are around, neighbors, family, etc. it’s just really tough to keep him safe and it’s tough on us with the kids.
