Cairn Terrier Mix For Adoption in Colorado

Hi, My name is Babs!

Cairn terrier mix for adoption in colorado

Are you looking for a grrrrrreat little dog to add plenty of love, laughter, joy and companionship to your life and home? Meet Babs, an adorable little Cairn Terrier mix. This little cutie is just 10 years young, very healthy, spayed and up to date on shots. She’s still got a lot of energy and loves other dogs and children.

I can be adopted on my own, but why not double the devotion and offer my sister, Penney, a home along with me? We’re good friends and a perfectly matched set!

Babs has been the cherished companion of a growing family living in Westminster, Colorado (near Denver). She has been very well cared for, and it shows.  As much as they love Babs, with the demands of parenting a toddler, and with another child on the way, Babs and her sister dog, , are just not getting the attention, care and exercise they need and very much deserve.

The family is hoping to find Babs a home on her own, or as a bonded pair along with , with owners who will be able to offer the care and attention needed. Babs loves to go for walks, is quite playful and lots of fun.  She wants to be your focus, and not an afterthought.

Babs would love to find a home with a nice, securely fenced back yard, and with people who are home at least part of the day to spend time with her. She would love some great older kids to play with, too.

Babs’s Current Home Environment

Our small house is never quiet during the day. Between daily chores, trips, and kid’s activities every room is a busy place.

Babs’s Current Family:

We’re a family of three, soon to be four. My wife works the 9-5 and travels often. I take care of our son, the dogs, and work out of the house. Our son is 2 years old and beginning to show it.

Babs’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

Babs loves squeaky toys, cheese, and chasing anything that moves!

Cute Babs Story:

After our son was born Babs would lay on the carpeting and act as a barrier if he rolled too close to something. Often she would lay under his crib to protect him during the night.

Why is Babs Being Rehomed?

1. With our family expanding we’ll have even less time to devote to Babs.
2. Our new home won’t be dog friendly.
3. Boarding / Pet Sitting is too expensive.
4. I can’t provide the home life she deserves.

Babs’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

Someone who will give Babs the attention she needs and allow her the opportunities to enjoy a fruitful life.

Additional Comments:

Babs is a great little dog. All she needs is some loving attention and room to stretch her legs.
